What schools say about Beyop.
From the people who run service programs every day.
Malibu High School, Community Service Learning Program
Before using Beyop, community service tracking relied on a patchwork of tools: Naviance for logging hours, combined with Google Forms, spreadsheets, and shared documents to advertise opportunities and recover information that the main system could not meaningfully process.
The system technically worked, but with considerable limitations. Students had no clear, ongoing view of their service unless they maintained a separate record themselves. Individual entries were essentially stored as lines of text, making it difficult to calculate totals, identify trends, or generate useful statistics. Even exported spreadsheets required extensive manual review and re-entry. Valuable information about the organizations students supported, the types of service they performed, and the opportunities generating the most engagement was being collected, but could not easily be used.
Beyop platform brought these disconnected functions together in one clear and intuitive system. Staff can post opportunities visually and concisely, including the organizer, location, available spaces, service hours, and registration link. They can review student logs and analyze participation by student, grade level, or organization. Students, meanwhile, can easily discover opportunities, submit their hours, and follow their own progress over time.
What impressed me most was that the platform did not simply reproduce an existing administrative process in digital form. It improved it. The simplified data structure makes student logs genuinely usable, while the visual presentation of opportunities encourages students to explore activities they might otherwise overlook.
The leaderboard displayed on the home screen may initially appear to be a small or playful feature, but students responded to it enthusiastically. Even in schools where community service is not centered on accumulating the highest number of hours, such as IB programs, seeing participation made visible can create positive momentum. It encourages curiosity, conversation, and a healthy sense of shared involvement.
Having worked both as a CAS Coordinator in an IB school and as a Community Service Learning Coordinator in a public high school, I understand the different philosophies and administrative demands of both systems. Beyop is flexible enough to support either environment. It introduces a welcome sense of accessibility and engagement without losing the structure and reporting tools staff need.
Ultimately, community service is not only about completing a requirement. It is about encouraging students to step outside their usual circles, discover their communities, and recognize their own capacity to contribute. Beyop makes that process easier to manage, easier to understand, and more inviting for students to begin.
KASMA, Kinesiology and Sports Medicine Academy, Agoura High School
Using Beyop has been an incredible experience for our sports medicine organization. The platform is incredibly simple and easy to use, while still offering so many features that make managing our day-to-day operations significantly easier. All of our students absolutely love Beyop, and the simplicity of the platform has made it extremely easy for everyone to get started and stay organized.
Beyop has been a lifesaver for managing schedules, shifts, hours, and overall organization. What would normally be a complicated and time-consuming process has become much more simple and efficient. Ore designed the platform with the user experience in mind, and we have been incredibly impressed with how much Beyop is able to do while remaining so straightforward.
A huge strength of Beyop is the customer service and support behind the platform. Ore has been incredibly responsive, professional, and willing to listen to our feedback. Whenever we have requested a feature, change, or improvement, he has been quick to respond and has worked hard to make sure our needs are met. His customer service is truly exceptional, especially considering that he is also currently in college and balancing everything that comes with that.
It is rare to find a platform that is both powerful and so easy to use, and Beyop has accomplished exactly that. We are incredibly grateful to have found Beyop and would highly recommend it to any organization looking for a simple, effective, and constantly improving platform. We are excited to continue using Beyop and seeing everything it can become!
Malibu High School, Administration
As an Assistant Principal, managing student discipline while fostering a positive school culture can be a difficult balancing act. Implementing Community Service Logs through BeYop has completely transformed how we approach behavior intervention at our school.
It has become an essential pillar of our Restorative Justice framework. Instead of relying solely on traditional, punitive consequences, BeYop gives our students positive ways to correct their behaviors. By participating in community service, students are able to give back, reflect on their actions, and build a genuine sense of connection and belonging within our community.
From an administrative standpoint, the platform is incredibly efficient. The automated tracking saves our me hours of manual paperwork. I get instant notifications when a student completes their hours, and the dashboard makes it easy to spot and follow up with any students who are missing their mandatory disciplinary hours.
BeYop bridges the gap between accountability and empathy, allowing us to keep students on track while teaching them the value of community. I highly recommend it to any school administrator looking to streamline their discipline tracking and elevate their restorative justice practices.
